Alexandria Dinner Club (Community Cookout)

The City of Alexandria Department of Recreation is holding a FREE Community Cookout on the front lawn of Fairlington Presbyterian Church on Thursday, June 11 from 6-7:30pm. Join your OSG peers along with other Alexandria community members!

The City staff will have their grills going, and there will be representatives from other departments on hand providing information on useful City services.  All are welcome to attend for what we hope will be a beautiful evening!

Meetup: On the front lawn of Fairlington Presbyterian Church. Please note that this event starts at 6 PM which is a little later than we usually start.

Weather Cancellation: In case of unsafe weather conditions, an announcement will be made on WhatsApp at least 2 hours prior to the start of the outdoor event.

Contact: We will communicate changes of plans and important updates via WhatsApp. If you are not yet in our OSG WhatsApp Events group, you can join via the link that will be sent to your email with your registration confirmation.

Accommodations: At OSG, our staff are not direct service providers, so we ask that each participant attending an event brings any personal support they may need for their well-being and engagement. This may include, but is not limited to, caregivers, communication partners, or mobility aids. That said, with prior notice, we can arrange group-wide accommodations during event planning. These might include ensuring wheelchair-accessible routes or selecting allergen-safe menus. Additional accommodations are available upon request, though they may not be listed here. To discuss your specific needs and help us make our events more inclusive, please contact us at [email protected] with the subject line “Accommodation Request.”

IMPORTANT: There are limited spots for this event so you MUST RSVP with the total number of people you’re coming with in order to participate.

*Note: Sign-up is mandatory. Be sure to RSVP so we know to expect you.
