We have a fun addition to our May Music Happy Hour! We invited Sushmita Mazumdar, artist and owner of Studio Pause, to our May happy hour to lead an art activity. The activity will center around music and how it impacts and connects our lives. The artwork from our May gathering will then be a part of the exhibit hung in APC from June-August titled Stories of Music: A Community Art Exhibit. Music Happy Hour is such a consistent musical community that it only made sense to invite everyone to be apart of the exhibit if they want to participate.
We will still lead songs and have a space for people who don’t want to make art and only want to sing. We will do that in the conference room at the same time.
Happy Hour will still begin at 2pm and go until 3pm. For those who want to do artwork, Sushmita will stick around until about 4pm in case they need more time.
To prepare: Instruments and other supplies will be provided, so no need to bring anything but yourself and maybe a friend!
Meet up: We will meet inside the church.

Weather Cancellation: In case of unsafe weather conditions, an announcement will be made on WhatsApp at least 2 hours prior to the start of the outdoor event.
Accommodations: At OSG, our staff are not direct service providers, so we ask that each participant attending an event brings any personal support they may need for their well-being and engagement. This may include, but is not limited to, caregivers, communication partners, or mobility aids. That said, with prior notice, we can arrange group-wide accommodations during event planning. These might include ensuring wheelchair-accessible routes or selecting allergen-safe menus. Additional accommodations are available upon request, though they may not be listed here.
